United Planning Organization

The United Planning Organization (UPO) is the community action agency for the District of Columbia. It is the agency's mission to unite people with opportunties that lead to self sufficiency. UPO supports youth through educational and empowerment opportunities, raising college scholarships for low-income students, and health, housing, and employment assistance for families living in poverty.
